A local entrepreneur who founded BusinessWatch 25 years ago. He is Peterborough born and raised, so very knowledgeable about the area and has witnessed first-hand the many developments over the years. The biggest change he has seen in the security industry is the tightening of legislation and the introduction of licensing by the SIA. He also loves to travel and is a dedicated gym lover.
Chris Caulfield Director Of Security
Chris has been in the security industry for over 25 years, working in HMP and on the PGA Golf Tour. He relocated to Peterborough in 2005 and now manages the day-to-day security requirements for the Business. Over the years, Chris has gained a lot of experienced and knowledge, which is why the Clients value Chris’s expertise and communication within Business Watch. Relaxation for Chris is found in reading or any kind of sport.
Ben Smith Deputy Operations Manager
Starting his career in the hospitality sector, Ben then spent over a decade as an intelligence analyst for the RAF before going into the security sector for a further 10 years. He moved to Peterborough in 2002, working as a security guard in the field but now supports the operational side of the business. He finds the use of new technology, drones and smart tech exciting developments in the sector. Maybe not too surprising that he is a science fiction and fantasy fan as well as an outdoor survival instructor.
Lorraine Clarke Payroll/Accounts Manager
An experienced Accounts Manager, Lorraine has been part of BusinessWatch for nearly 20 years carrying out all aspects of accounts procedures and payroll. She has also been in Peterborough for as long as she can remember. Over the years she has seen first-hand how security has increased in priority for many local companies. During her downtime, she loves spending time with her family, gardening, walking, and travelling when she’s able.
Cara Clarke Associate Director
Working in the security industry for nearly 15 years, Cara started her career in electronics before moving into security services. She has worked for several businesses in the Group, integrating technology with best practices to ensure effective performance. Originally from Peterborough, she has witnessed a shift in the security market to integrate technology with people (IOT), something that has enabled BusinessWatch to expand its services. She loves spending time with her young family and enjoys taking part in fitness competitions.
Karen Montague Office Manager
A wealth of experience having worked in various administrative roles over the past 30 years, Karen now manages the day-to-day running of our office, supporting the Director of Security in meeting all client and staff requirements. Experiencing directly the introduction of new systems that have enabled her to offer a continuously improved service to clients. During her spare time, she enjoys walking, travelling and spending time with her family.
