These two officers recently dealt with an extremely serious incident with integral consciousness of both their safety and others highlighting their intrinsic skills as security professionals. They remained calm and used their de-escalation training and techniques to disarm the individual who had concealed a knife and turned it on them. Phil and Jason went above and beyond, persuading the individual to hand the knife over so they could contain the incident efficiently and safely. Their extreme competence and management of the incident is truly reward worthy. Thank you Jason and Phil.
